Thread Limit
Traveling usually does not require a transition thread or any mention of having traveled from one place to another, but during a site wide plot it is required to prevent characters from being everywhere doing everything. The number of threads that your character can be in at any one time depends on the character's mage rank. If the character is in the maximum number of threads, then one must be ended before a new one can begin.
Travel Rules- Rank D-C mages can be in up to two threads.
- Rank B-A mages can be in up to three threads.
- Rank S-Z mages can be in up to four threads.
During what we refer to as the Peace Period your character is free to be in as many location as your thread count allows, but during the Conflict Period you must end all of your thread in one location before moving to another. If you're unsure what period the forum is in, just remember that a site wide plot means Conflict Period and lack of said plot puts the forum in Peace Period by default.
Community Moderation Rules
General Rules
No being rude or instigating fights. This includes, but is not limited to: flaming, trolling, baiting, name-calling, religion bashing, and member bashing. We have a zero-tolerance policy and perpetrators will be dealt with upon investigation. Here at FTZ, we love it when members get involved in the community, which is why we have a community moderation system in place that simultaneously allows members to get involved and allows staff attention to focus on the larger picture.
Participating in this system comes in many forms, most notably by narrating or approving training sessions or missions, the latter of which does require reading the actual mission and ensuring the goals of the mission are met, that the post count is reached, that there's no god modding, etc. While a staff will still have to visit an approved thread to give the appropriate reward, it is much quicker for a staff member to pop in and add a few jewels than to have to read an entire thread.
The reward for community moderation tasks is 20 EXP or 200 Jewels. To claim this reward post in the tracker of the character that you wish to claim it on and be sure to include the link as well as the reward that you have chosen.

General Rules
No meta-gaming. Metagaming seeks to provide shortcuts in role playing. This includes, but is not limited to: performing a plan you decided on OOC but not role playing coming up with the plan.
Swearing is allowed, but not in excess. We are not an R-rated site but we are also not a bunch of ten-year-olds. Keep it in control. It is fine if it is your character's personality to randomly shout profanities. Just keep it within moderation, or you will be spoken to.
Erotic roleplay is not allowed. No one wants to see it and it is in Proboard's Terms and Services.
Do not cheat. We are moderating an entire forum and grading multitudes of posts. Do not change your level or somehow gain a spell without the required prerequisites. YOU WILL BE CAUGHT AND YOU WILL BE BANNED!
We are a casual rp forum. But not illiterate. There is a 200 word minimum on all posts. The C-Box: it is a means of speaking with people on the site without having to have everyone on a messenger.
You can have an unlimited amount of characters. You can link up to two different accounts to one account. These two new characters can start out one rank lower than the original account. For example, if your original account is A rank, then the two other accounts can start B rank. Otherwise, your new character will start out as D rank.
All staff rulings are final. If you have a problem with how a situation was handled, do not bring it to other members. You will only cause a larger fight than necessary. Staff rulings, whether it is on a matter of complaint or a matter of rule breaking, will almost always be final. Rulings can be repealed and handled differently, but more than likely they will not. So, if we are being unfair, PM one of the mods or admins. We will discuss it and either come up with another ruling or give an explanation for our previous ruling.
All advertising must be done in the affiliate board. If you advertise an RP site here, we reserve the right to deny it if you do not also allow us to advertise on your site.
Do not join an ongoing battle. Once a battle has started, no more players may enter the thread. This is to avoid people complaining about being killed while in a middle of an attack. If in doubt, PM me.
No attacking on an opening post: No one wants their character killed by someone who suddenly enters and attacks without being able to respond to it.
In time between each post is six seconds. You can have your character think about his/her next move or use some spells.
Max Sig Area Size: 600w x 250h. Smaller is OK. Large sig sizes, particularly images, can dramatically slow loading times for users with slower connections. Having a sig size limit reduces loading time for those on slower connections. Also, sigs wider than this size stretch and distort the page.
Real Names If you choose to, posting your real name is ok. Posting other peoples real names, without their express permission, is not accepted. Some people like to keep their real names private for security purposes. It is unfair to those people if you just blurt out their names. If you allow your name to be known, it is recommended you do not release your last name, as a measure of privacy.
